"Secrets of the cheese dairy", permanent exhibition

The Cheese dairy of Aillon le Jeune, one of the smallest ones of Savoy, proposes you a playful journey to the country of cheeses of the Val d'Aillon.
"From the herb to the cheeses", is an exhibition that will deliver you the trade secrets of cheeses produced here: "Tome" of the Bauges, "Margériaz", "Monpela", "Valbleu"... You can visit it freely every day.
Guided tours are organized for individuals in high season.
Groups are welcome all year on booking only.
During the high season, educational sessions are organized (for individuals) : there you will make yourself a "Tome" des Bauges (cheese) and some butter.

Rates (for a visit of the exhibition)

• Adult : 2.50 €
• Enfant (7-18 years old) : 1.50 €
• below 7 years old : free

Schedule

During the high season (Christmas, february holidays, july and august) :

• on Tuesdays at 5 pm: educational session (manufacturing of cheese and butter) : 5.50 € / person
• on Thursdays at 9:30 am: guided tour of the exhibition : 3.00 € / person

Opening dates

Every days, all year, from 9 am till 12 am and from 3 pm till 7:30 pm .
